Each year, the Lathrup Village Lions Club raises and distributes funds to support local charities including Leader Dogs for the Blind, the Penrickton Center for Blind Children, JDRF, Eversight, Lions Visually Impaired Youth Camp (Bear Lake Camp) and Lions Project KidSight.

The Lathrup Village Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club organization in the world. The motto of Lions Clubs International is WE SERVE. In that spirit, Lathrup Village Lions volunteer in many capacities such as organizing diabetes education workshops, packaging food at a local food bank, making face masks, collecting and recycling used eyeglasses and hearing aids, and other community activities. We are always happy to welcome new members from any community.

All of the money raised will be distributed to charitable organizations. Lathrup Village Lions Club Charities Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
