Last Mercy Emissions fundraiser

Last Mercy Emissions is a promotional music label based in and serving Portland, Maine. Its mission is to enable underground touring bands to perform in Maine’s often neglected & secondary market - and over the last (5) years has worked with various venues around the state (i.e. SPACE Gallery, Empire, DIY spaces) - and has resided for the past (2) years as primary booking vehicle for Geno’s Rock Club.

As a third party company, Last Mercy Emissions has outfit Geno’s Rock Club with new sound system, lighting, licensing, production management organization and a noteworthy roster of lineups featuring touring national & international legends, almost always with local support. The concept has been to give Portland, Maine the recognition that she deserves - while placing her own artists and performers up-close-and-personal with many of the underground icons whom have always inspired them. Also, continual exposure to the underground circuit has the potential to nourish and educate those with an open mind, as well as facilitate possibilities for networking - without having to travel to larger markets outside of Portland.

Creating opportunities, alone, comes with a significant financial toll - as annual music licensing fees and equipment maintenance costs are consistent reminders that nothing in the underground is free or easy. Although there are no signs of Last Mercy slowing - any alleviation or support is most welcome from benefactors who may have mutual goals. Support has never been the expectation - but for those who stand with us - your loyalty, consideration and care is so very much appreciated.
