Larry Jack Sammons Memorial

If you've been to any live music in Savannah in the last 20 or more years, there is a chance you stood next to, danced next to, or knew Larry Jack Sammons. At the end of the night, there would always be a long goodbye tour, because Larry was friends with everyone and he insisted on saying goodbye with his patented ear-to-ear smile and a hug. There was no one like Larry Jack. Since Larry's sudden passing on September 10th, his friends have rallied around the family, especially his daughter Lisa. But more help is needed. Consider this a community farewell tour. A group of close friends have rallied to create this appeal to the masses. Please, if you are able, give what you can. Every bit of the money donated here will go to help Lisa cope with the costs currently mounting. It is tragic to lose a friend, a father, a brother without notice or warning. But even more tragic to be faced with a financial burden when your heart is broken. Please help us relieve that financial burden so Lisa can mourn without worry for necessities.
