Our family is raising money on behalf of our beloved Larraine Garcia-Gonzalez. She recently got married on December 18. Two days later, the newlywed couple were on their honeymoon visiting, with family in the Bay Area before attending a football game. While visiting, the family dog had fallen asleep on her lap. A kettle on the stove went off, awoke the dog, and startled him causing him to bite off her nose along with biting her lip and chin.
She had been hospitalized for two weeks after the incident. Following her discharge, she will need reconstructive procedures, treatments, and considerable amounts of doctor visits that will be costly. We hope to lessen the burden and stress for the newlywed couple. The money raised will go to this new family to help support them during this time. Any amount of money you can donate would be greatly appreciated. Along with any monetary donations, prayers and best wishes are also greatly appreciated as both Larraine and her new family navigate this difficult journey.
