Coronavirus has affected hundreds of thousands of families across the UK, and the world.

Paul Finnan (our dad, husband, brother, son, uncle, in-law and friend) was taken ill with Covid-19 on 16th January 2021.

Since then he was admitted into Birmingham Heartlands Hospital on the 23rd January where he was induced into a coma and put on a ventilator 4 days later.

Due to the current crisis and lack of beds within the Birmingham area he was then moved to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham where he remains now.

As a testament to his character, he’s still fighting and getting stronger each day - however all of his care and recovery has been down to the heroes working within the A&Es and ICUs.

The countless Doctors, Nurses and Carers have been doing an amazing job whilst risking their lives every day, and we wanted to find a way to shine light on their efforts.

Inspired by a family friend who has put together her own ‘goodie boxes’ for the staff down at Heartlands, we were struck with the idea to build on her gesture of good will by designing and building our own luxury gift hampers using small independent businesses local to Birmingham and Nottingham.

How can you help?

Due to the phenomenal response in the first day, we are able to increase the amount of hampers, to 200.

This is enough to cover every Doctor, Nurse and other integral members of staff at QMC Nottingham, where Paul is currently recovering.

Any extra donations, will be used to provide similar care packages to the staff at Heartlands, Birmingham, who were there to help Paul in the early stages of his illness.

The items will be provided by local independent businesses, further details to follow.

100% of proceeds will go towards the hampers.
