Wij zijn Kenny en Tushar
Eind februari gaan we met een team van vijf personen naar Lapland, Finland. Hier gaan we een project maken waar video, dans en muziek samen komt.
Verhaal
In dit project volgen we een vrouw die haar vader 10 jaar geleden verloren heeft. Hierdoor wordt ze verbitterd en komt haar relatie met God op een laag pitje te staan en wilt ze niets meer met Hem te maken hebben.
Na 10 jaar besluit ze om terug te gaan naar de hut waar haar vader vaak verbleef. Daar vindt ze een brief die haar vader aan haar heeft geschreven. In de brief moedigt haar vader haar aan om haar geloof weer op te pakken.
Wat we dan zien is haar pad die ze samen met God bewandeld. Op dit pad komt de vrouw te staan voor keuzes waar ze kan kiezen om de Bijbelse weg te kiezen of de weg van de wereld. We zien de consequenties van de keuzes die zij maakt en hoe zij gebruik maakt van de Bijbel als leidraad.
Inspiratie en doel
Onze inspiratie is Psalm 119:105 "Uw woord is een lamp voor mijn voet en een licht op mijn pad."
Hoe is het om zonder Zijn woord te lopen? Het is te donker om de weg te vinden. We hebben Zijn Licht nodig in goede en slechte tijden.
In Gods Woord staat wie Hij is, wat Hij heeft gedaan en waarom Hij dit heeft gedaan. Wanneer we Zijn Woord niet kennen, kunnen we Hem ook niet kennen zoals Hij het van ons verlangt. We willen de realiteit van Gods Woord op een creatieve manier overbrengen doormiddel van muziek, dans en video.
Wat willen we bereiken
We hopen dat mensen die deze video gaan zien geraakt mogen worden en gestimuleerd mogen worden om dieper in God's Woord te duiken. Ook hopen we dat deze video een aanvulling mag zijn op preken in kerken, kringgroepen en andere toepasselijke plekken. In de nabije toekomst willen we meer projecten ontwikkelen om God groot te maken.

At the end of February, we will be visiting Lapland, Finland with a team of five. We will be working on a project in which videography, dance and music all come together.
Story
Our story is about a woman that has lost her father ten years ago. After the loss, she became bitter and came to a point where she didn't want to have anything to do with God anymore. Ten years after the tragic event, she finds enough courage to go back to the cabin where her father often stayed. In the cabin she discovers an old letter, that her father wrote her, that she did not open back then. She decides to open the letter and it turns out to be a letter full of encouragement. The words motivate her to restore her relationship with God. To have faith in Him again, and to read the Bible again.
As our story continues, the woman will find herself on several crossroads of life. Will she choose the Biblical way, or the ways of the world? Will she put her faith in God and follow Him, or go her own way? We will see the resulting consequences coming from the choices she makes. And we will discover in what manner she will use the Bible as her guidance.
Inspiration and goal
Our inspiration is a Bible verse from Psalms 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”.
What is it like to walk without His word? It is too dark to find the way. We are in need of His light, in good and bad times.
God’s word speaks to us about who God is, about what He has done. It explains to us why He did what He has done. When we do not dive into His word we can not know Him the way He longs for us to know Him.
With this project we would love to bring the reality of God’s word to the audience by combining videography, dance and music.
What we want to accomplish
We hope that everyone who watches this video will be touched and motivated to dive deeper into Gods word. We also hope that this video may be used as an addition to sermons, preaching's in church, homegroups, etc. In the near future we would like to develop more projects to glorify our God.
