LAP Allstar Challenge

Reaching out to all my friends and family, to help me reach my goal I have to fulfill by September!

Here's what's going on:

I always strive to give back to the community. From helping out in retirement homes when I was a kid, to as an adult taking part in helping non profits all around the US with raising funds to support their cause - I will always do my best to give back, and help where/when I can.

This year, I have the opportunity to once again be involved in helping my community,  specifically so with a non profit that is now very near and dear to me. Last year September, I had the privilidge of attending the LAP Allstar Challenge while I was living in Chicago, IL.
I met some amazing people involved with not only the charitable side of the event, but people who have heartfelt relationships with Benjy & Bradley Pogofsky - the founders of the organization. From world class athletes such as Jermaine Dye, Joe Crede, Toby Hall, Adam Greenberg and Scott Podsednik to wonderful people such as Tricia Dye & her sweet kids, Brian Frazier Wright, Lisa Pogofsky Sobelman and some amazing life-long White Sox & Cubs fans  - the experience was truly unforgettable, and inspiring.

A little history on LAP Allstar Challenge, and the Pogofsky family ties to the Chicago White Sox:
The Pogofskys have been a part of the White Sox family since Benjy & Bradley's father, Larry, became one of the original owners and board members for the organization in 1981. Larry was a generous and honest man who loved to share his passion for baseball with his friends and family.

After his sudden passing in 2010, his sons searched for a way to honor his memory and created the LAP All-Star Challange. In this event, retired Cubs and Sox players from all around the world go back to Chicago to join the Pogofsky family and friends for a charity-driven, fun-filled day of rivalry softball, unlike any other game you have ever seen.

Now, let's get down to it:
I am asking all of my friends and family to come together and help me in my mission to raise:
$1,250.00 by September 4th

All the proceedes raised from the LAP Allstar Challenge of 2017 will be donated to two different non profit organizations, to help with their cause. One of the organizations already chosen is Fresh Start Caring for Kids Foundation, and the other organization will be announced at the end of the charity event.

This opportunity to share Benjy's organization with my friends and family, means so much to me. I would be forever grateful to anyone that can give a little to help me reach my goal.

Love,

Bronwyn
