Landon's Road to Recovery

Landon is a sweet, active 11 and a half month old who loves his dog, Frank, and climbing on anything that he can find. He loves taking baths (something that he will not be able to enjoy again until he is completely healed) and is very close to walking! 

On January 22nd, Landon was burned very badly at his babysitter's house. He had to spend several days at Children's Hospital in order to treat third degree (full thickness burns) on his bottom. He was also burnt on his lower back/side and hands. So far, he has undergone surgery to receive skin grafting; taking skin from his upper thigh and suturing two of the deepest parts on his bottom. Because the burn was so deep, the nerves in his bottom were damaged causing possible loss of feeling for the rest of his life as well as severe scarring and very tramatic diaper changes for the forseeable future. 

While Landon is expected to make a full recovery, as his doctors have jokingly said, Landon's career as a stripper is over before it even started and thongs are not in his future.  Somehow, Greg and Seneca have managed to maintain a sense of humor through this terrible time. The path to recovery that Landon and his parents, Greg and Seneca, will have to travel will be long and surely filled with bumps. 

Even though Landon has been a trooper throughout this whole nightmare of an accident, the Millers have a lonnnnnggg road to recovery ahead of them. Seneca’s work has been more than amazing in letting her take as many weeks off as needed to care for Landon. In that being said, this puts a HUGE financial burden on their family. The stress of the accident, the recovery, the investigation of what happened, the bills that are about to hit their door step along with their everyday bills are keeping them up at night. Any financial assistance would greatly benefit this loving family. After going through such a horrific event, the last thing that they need to worry about is the financial impact that this event is having.
