My little brother Lance is very sick and is in the process of getting listed for a heart transplant. He will most likely be living in the ICU at KU while he waits. His family and home are two and a half hours away. As a heart transplant patient myself who’s Transplant center was also more than 2 hours from my home  I know the financial strain it takes between travel and medical bills and food for the family while traveling and staying at the hospital. Also with his sweet wife Kelcy having to miss a lot of work, being the only income right now  I really wanted to start this GoFund me to help. The emotional stress is hard enough if we can help relieve some financial stress it can help them at least take a little bit of stress off their shoulders.
