Lamar High School Volleyball is made up of over 40 young women, playing on the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman teams.
To make the season even more memorable, we are seeking donations to our Lamar Volleyball Booster Club from parents, families and friends. With our school budget slashed by HISD’s budget cuts, these funds are even more vital to the success of our program. Even with huge economies already made by the coaches, we need to raise more than $12,000. That equates to almost $300 per player.
These funds will help pay for team transport, tournament fees and officiating costs, and Coach Jackson plans to build further on the training equipment to enable our athletes to develop their skills, and to get stronger and faster, during the playing season, in the off-season and during next summer’s conditioning program. At the end of the season, we will celebrate our on-court successes and our All-District Award-winners at the Volleyball Banquet, which is always a very special evening for the girls, the coaches and their families. We would also like to raise enough money to make secure next year’s program.
Your financial donation today will help ensure that our volleyball players and their coaches are given the tools they need to succeed.
The Lamar Volleyball Booster Club is part of the Lamar Athletic Booster Club a 501(c)3 organization. Any size contribution is greatly appreciated and is tax deductible.
This Go Fund Me page offers an easy way to make a donation to the program. However, the organization behind it does take a small cut in each donation. If you prefer to make your donation by check (ensuring that 100% goes to our cause), please:
· Make it payable to “Lamar Athletic Booster Club”
· Write “Volleyball” in the memo
