Hi, I’m Lali - I’m a trans-masc person raising money towards my top-surgery. I’m launching this fundraiser on my birthday, because I cannot stress enough what a huge gift any little donation towards my gender affirming care would be.

Next year I plan to have privately funded top surgery (due to incomprehensible NHS waitlist for trans medical care under this tory government) so am trying to raise as much money as possible; both for the surgery itself and for the living costs associated with it. I have a very physical job so won’t be able to return for a good couple of months!

The above amount will cover the surgery itself, as well as any consultation appointment fees (£350 per appointment), then support for the long 5 months recovery period before I can return to work. I am free-lance camera assistant, i have a very physical job that cannot be done remotely and for which I have to be very physically fit! I do not get any form of sick pay, so need support to pay for my flat/bills and food/drink during my recovery period.

i’m planning on raising other funds through plant sales and supper clubs, but if you are able to send a little as a birthday gift that would be overwhelmingly kind ❤️ if you are unable to, merely sharing this fundraiser is a gift enough!
