Lakeridge Blue Week 2020

This is Lakeridge Philanthropy's second year fundraising for Prostate Cancer Awareness, through ZERO."ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer" is a 501 non-profit organization dedicated to prostate cancer education, testing, patient support, research and advocacy. Due to these unprecedented circumstances we are unable to fundraise in person, but we would appreciate your donations for this cause! 

Why is Prostate Cancer fundraising so important?

- 1 out of 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime.

-More than 33,330 men will die of prostate cancer anually. 

- African-American men are 1.8 times more likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer than any other racial or ethnic group. 

- Unfortunately, there is a lot of really dangerous stigma around prostate cancer awareness. Starting conversations about the importance of this cause is crucial to helping fund research.

ZERO will stop the pain and suffering of the disease by educating men and their families, encouraging action, and providing direct financial support to patients.
