The Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra’s mission is to perform diverse music

for chamber orchestra, featuring masterworks and new compositions in a

series of summer concerts. We are committed to collaborating with local

performers, composers, and artists from other disciplines. The LSCO also

nurtures young musicians through the Quartet Project, an intensive workshop for string students.

After over 35 years of successfully leading this award-winning organization, Warren Friesen announced his retirement. the LSCO board is doing their best to secure financing to sustain this local treasure for this year and hopefuilly, for years to come.
