Lake Forest Dance Academy (LFDA) is proud to celebrate our 47th year of providing quality dance programs with a variety of classes for all ages, including dance play, creative dance, ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, and tap. We offer challenging programs designed for serious dance students, as well as classes for children, teens, and adults who simply love to dance or just want to experience the rewards of this artistic discipline.

As a member of the National Dance Education Organization, LFDA embraces the Professional Teaching Standards of Dance in the Arts, including the mastery of dance content, skills and knowledge in relation to education and community and the implementation of reflective practice.

Our curriculum is based on a creative, conceptual approach that develops the joy and passion of dancing as it connects linguistic, kinesthetic and spatial concepts in the teaching and learning of technical skills and choreography.
