Laguna Students helping Wildlife - HB Oil Spill

Hi - we are group of Laguna Beach Elementary students and families who are raising funds to help the wildlife effected by the recent oil spill in Southern California.

Our kids love our beautiful beaches, our incredible wildlife and are confused and very saddened about what happened and want to figure out how to help.

So several local Laguna families quickly pulled together. The effort started on Monday, October 4th. We are collecting funds prior to school starting at 7:30 am on the corner near our lovely Top of the World Elementary school. We have asked families and the community to come out and quickly support the cause.

Our hope is to motivate other elementary students to organize in their communities. Our further goal is that as parents, we wish to empower our children with ideas and tools so they know that there's always something we can do to help when a crisis hits.
