Road to Disney

For the first time in the Calumet City Thunderbolts’ history, we have a Cheer team that made the choice to go for it all: Pop Warner Nationals in Disney World, December 2017! Since August, the PeeWee Cheer team, ages 9 & 10, have kept their eyes on the ultimate prize and pushed through tons of obstacles to make it happen. From starting as a bigger team and losing members to having extra practices in their coach’s crowded basement, they perserved through it all. Now with their sights set to invade Orlando’s Disney World to compete with the best, we desperately need help to make the trip happen. The girls do not come from the richest families and need help to pay off what can be a very expensive trip. So we are asking for donations, to help give the dream of every Pop Warner cheerleader a reality. To give them an experience that can have have for a lifetime. We always hear about the bad things that go on with our youth so let’s make a stride in the positive direction for this young group of girls. Please feel free to donate to the trip of a lifetime for the Lady Bolts! Big or small, we appreciate them all! Thank you!
