Funeral & Expenses for LaDonna Sue Nunneley

I am raising money to help with my precious nanny’s funeral arrangements. She left us on 3/12/2021 at the 10:29AM her and my grandfather have been married for 64 years, and I started this gofundme to take some of the stress off him while he grieves the loss of his bride. 

For those who don’t know LaDonna, or Nanny took a fall 8 years ago, and we found a tiny pea sized brain aneurysm, back then it was inoperable because of her health and a lot of other factors, but also wasn’t a threat then. At the time my Uncle JayDee, who  was a quadriplegic was alive, and was terrified to live without nanny. She had been his primary caregiver 20+ years at the time until he passed in 2015.  Unfortunately in Jan. 2021 she had a spell, that looked like a stroke, we rushed her to the hospital via ambulance & found out her aneurysm had grown to the size of a peach, and was growing, and pushing on tthings, they gave her 4-6months to live. This was A huge shock to our family. LaDonna also had early onset dementia so we expected that to take her home to God later in life. We truly thought we had more time, until recently. Tuesday 3/9/2021 at 5:00PM I walked in for our usual visit, and found her unresponsive in her chair.. she had JUST asked her helper Lisa Porta for a Tylenol because she had a sharp pain in her head.  We called 911 & waited for them to arrive, Upon arrival at the hospital, a CT Scan was done and our worst nightmare was confirmed, her aneurysm had burst and she had catastrophic bleeding. This was Tuesday, Nanny waited and hung on while her children and grandkids said their goodbyes, unfortunately now 3/12/2021 we must plan a celebration of life, as God has called her home.
