LADIDADI WINES NEED YOU!
For the last 10 years, Florian from Ladidadiwines has dedicated his life to enriching the natural wine scene traveling from city to city.
Through a huge number of different projects, we have helped the community from near and far to come closer together and grow stronger by connecting and bridging the gap between producers and restaurants, bars, galleries, venue owners, and consumers.
Ladidawines was born in Berlin at the start of the natural wine scene. Prior to this, being established in London under the name of 259 Hackney Road. Florian has always invested himself and any of his profits to build projects from almost nothing. Three years after starting up in Berlin struggling to keep a small business afloat despite engaging consistently in multiple projects related to art and music, Florian made the decision to up and start again from zero in a new city, Lisbon. Lisbon bought fresh challenges given that Florian singlehandedly renovated a new space to open a bar with practically nonexistent financial means. However, a loyal following developed with demand for natural wines, and this special place we built was just starting to work out.
In Lisbon LADIDADI invested initial profits in collaborations with artists, musician cultural events and organized one of the most beautiful fairs of natural wine in Lisbon, Pura Sede.
It should be noted that these events are done for the love and leave us with very little winnings.
The installation of the bar has always been with the aim of contributing to neighborhood life, of respecting and encouraging this life and blending cultures which, in our opinion is the main goal of humanity.
This part of the business we were not willing to compromise on and was essential for the community. The goal of LADIDADI is centered around integrating all people, and not just a select few, fairness has always been the main goal.
Our space is dedicated to providing a comfortable, affordable, and inspiring meeting place to encourage communication between people, sharing knowledge and culture. We have hosted countless events always prioritizing new talent. We are so grateful that our space is very little time has become an important place for artists, thinkers, wine lovers, activists, researchers, musicians, etc ... people who we believe to be the future of this planet.
We are now in a perilous situation to pay our employees and keep up with rent, continuing to provide this special space of education and enjoyment, free of judgment and snobbery. Many events we had planned as sources of income have been canceled.
We ask for your help to continue our movement, our events inside or outside the store, workshops, DJ set’s, presentation and guided tastings of wines, wine fairs etc. With this sum we will be able to continue to pay our employees, to maintain our rent and building costs and hopefully increase our selection and invest in many more cultural events in the future.
Through the years, LADIDADI has been able to grow through founder Florian and with a great deal of help and enthusiasm from Clara. We now have some new incredibly passionate and hardworking employees like Elise and Pedro.
