Laci's Leukemia Fund

Hi everyone! My name is Laci Alaine and I am 21 years old living in Pittsburgh, PA. For the past year I had been struggling with some very scary and serious health problems and about a month ago I was finally diagnosed with Acute Lyphoblastic Leukemia. Because of all this I've had to set aside school and working to go kick cancers stupid butt out my body. Now, I do have an amazing family and a long list of people sending me their postive vibes but I unfortunately can not pay my bills and feed myself with peoples kind words. I have been on my own for years now and have been resposinble enough to have money saved like a good little young adult trying to make it in the world, but the exreme financial burden of medical bills already adding up and uncertainty of what will the furure of my treatment would have anyone worried. This is not how I plan to make it. I am not trying to be a charity case and I do not like asking for money one bit.  Many of you have already asked how you could help and this is it. I do not need gift baskets or cute nicknacks for my hospital room or crossword puzzzles to keep my busy. I appreiate the thoughts but money to get me exactly what I need quickly is really what is going to help.

With any money raised through my site here would go towards random everyday bills and utitilities that come up, gas money to and from doctor apointments, parking fees, perscription cost and other small at home medical equipement and expenses. Money may be used for grocery shopping and adhearing to my chemotherapy diet. Lots of things could come up. Cancer is unpredicatble and cancer is expensive. Money raised here would be used to help keep my stressful new life as a leukemia patient as normal and stress free as a can while I can recover.

I'm fighting hard and reacting well to all my treatment and it would be nice to receieve any donations to help keeps things going smoothly for me. I'm going to try to work as much as I can once I am out of the hospital and do other things to make money too like light work, Avon, artwork, ect. But I really don't know how I am going to be feeling and It would mean so much to me if even one of you donated to my fund.
