La Gallina Spiritosa, a rustic relaxing getaway in the heart of the Piedmont countryside, ideal for travel mad bonvivants and foodies with a weakness for drinking quality wine, savouring tasty local foods, soaking up the rural simplicity of Italian country living, exploring little known towns, castles and villages.....and meeting the occasional funny chicken around the neighbourhood.
Should you like to support this unique country holiday home project, you can still donate any amount you choose (big or small). The money will help us speed up and finish the current renovation works of the 2nd floor holiday apartment and will allow you to visit us in the near future at a discounted price, since the donated amount will be deducted from your final bill. Your donation can be used to partially or fully pay for a stay at one of our holiday apartments for a 2 year period (until end of 2022) which should give you plenty of time to decide on the perfect dates for a unique stay at La Gallina Spiritosa.
A nice alternative option is to convert your donation into a gift voucher allowing you to offer your friend/lover/family member an amazing stay in an authentic Italian farmhouse apartment (voucher validity until end of 2022).
We have 2 rustic cosy apartments. “Beppe” is located on the 1st floor and “Cesare” on the top (2nd) floor of “La Gallina Spiritosa”.
Both are fully equipped with a spacious country kitchen with gas hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher and dining area, a pleasant southfacing living room overlooking the Langhe region with cosy seating area and sofabed (for 2 people), 1 spacious bedroom with antique bed (for 2 people, mattress and bedframe are brand new and very comfy), unique spacious bathroom with separate W.C., bidet and shower. Fresh linens and towels are provided.
Both apartements are completely independent and each his its own entrance, private balcony, with comunal use of the large covered hayloft, including chaises longues and dining table for enjoying lazy lunches al fresco while relishing the tranquility of nature and taking in the impressive views.
Each apartment offers room for max. 4 people and has plenty of available parking space. The occasional sounds of passing tractors and local farming activity is part of the country setting and rural charm.
Having a car in this region is quite essential (although it is not impossible to get around on public transportation), so it is easiest to drive to Italy by car, or to hire a car at the airport of Turin Caselle (1h30)/Nice (3h)/Milano Malpensa (3h).
