Global Exchange Program - RWA

My name is Alexa and I have been accepted into the Global Exchange Program with Rockaway Waterfront Alliance. Global Exchange to The Netherlands is a leadership and cultural competence development program in which I will spend two weeks traveling to and learning about a new culture. My portion of the cost of this program is $1500, which is more than I can afford so I am in need of financial assistance. I believe this experience will broaden my view of the world. I have a chance to go beyond the borders of the United States and experience a new culture first-hand. Through my stay with the host family, interaction with the people I meet, and the community service my group will be providing, I will be able to develop a better global understanding and enhance my own personal growth. I will also be able to share my own culture with those I meet. Upon my return home from The Netherlands, I will be able to share my experience with other RWA members, family, and friends in my community.
