MS is a potentially debilitating disease in which your body's immune system eats away at the protective sheath that covers your nerves. This interferes with the communication between your brain & the rest of your body. Ultimately, this may result in deterioration of the nerves themselves, a process that's not reversible. Since Jenny's diagnosis' has progressed, especially in the last year, she eventually had to listen to the advice of her doctor, and apply for long term benefits. She has been trying to swallow her pride, in regards of asking for sincere donations for medical costs, travel, and medicines because of her MS. The last 12 months have been difficult, to say the least, especially because she still has two little girls at home.
There is a new hope for people with MS, But they do not have this treatment available in Canada. So unfortunately she has to travel to Mexico to get this procedure done. It is called CCSVI, and has made a world of difference in thousands of MS patients. Hopefully with all of your help and support, we can help get Jen the help she needs to heal!
