Pamela's Hospital Bill

Donation protected
Elisha Ooga has dedicated his adult life to the most destitute and poverty stricken children living in the Kibera slums of Nairobi Kenya.  He is co-founder and a Director of Zelyn Academy - a school that provides free education, food and clothing to orphaned and the most vulnerable children of Kibera. He does not recieve an 'official salary' for the great work he does despite being married and having three wonderful children of his own. Elisha is a kind, loving, generous and humble Christian man who has given so much to others yet has never asked for anything for himself.

Sadly, Elisha's wife Pamela became very sick and was admitted into hospital on the 8th January 2015. Kenya does not have a free healthcare system and only the wealthy can  really afford to recieve medical treatment. But what choice does this leave the poor who often die young because they cannot afford to seek medical help? Elisha could not let his wife and mother of his children go untreated. Could you?

Thankfully Pamela has made a full recovery but until 29th January, the hospital had been holding her to ransom by refusing to discharge her on the grounds that Elisha was unable to pay the hospital bill in full. However, with some intervention directly to the hospital and promises made to raise the funds to settle the bill on his behalf, the hospital agreed to discharge her today (29th Jan).

Elisha is a poor and humble man who has no way of paying this bill which amounts to £2000,90. He would never ask for help himself so this is an appeal to anyone who feels they would like to help him be free from such a huge worry by donating even a small amount to this worthy cause. He really needs your support through this difficult time. Thank you very much in advance.
