I am sash and mother too of 2 amazing children who has just been told there is no more treatment available for me and to prepare for the worst.
My story started February 2019 where i was diagnosed with a rare type of breast cancer at my very young age of 32 with triple negative hert2 breast cancer.
I am a lively ,caring happy individual who has so much to offer still.
I had surgery and radiotherapy no chemo as it does not treat my rare type of cancer and all seemed ok at this time.
later that year i became very ill, christmas eve 2019 i was then told it had travelled to the brain.
A few months before it was negleagently overlooked by medical professionals which has now cost us wasted time.
On the 31st of december 2019 i was taken for brain surgery and the tumour was removed. i was almost cured i thought, 2 weeks later i was rushed in with a brain infection to which the swelling to my brain and nearly killed me, which then resulted in a second surgery.
i was then refused radiotherapy on the nhs which is as good as my cure for my type being rare.
we accepted cyber knife surgery which is 94% successful, to be told it had not worked and more to that it had spread to the lung and chest wall node but that sadly was not the end.
on my 4th visit we were told there were further more masses again to the brain and there is no more they could or will offer me other than to try to prolong my life!
I am now in palliative care but somehow manage to take care of my children full time which keeps my fight strong.
I am now trying to find a way to get immunotherapy elsewhere , or options of going abroad where it is extremely popular.
I was given a few months literally a few months ago and now I'm on a race against time!
This goes out to my 2 children I gave them life they are giving me a reason to live !
