The BT Challengers are going to Globals!

What's Globals you ask? This is a Destination ImagiNation competition with over 16,000 competitors from around the world.

Destination Imagination provides educational programs in which student teams solve open-ended Challenges and present their solutions at Tournaments. Teams are tested to think on their feet, work together, and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements of the Challenges. Our Challenge (Hold It!) was to build a balsa wood tower that would hold as much weight as possible and also contain golf balls delivered into it via a device the kids designed.  They also had to integrate their structure and delivery device into a creative performance and were then judged by appraisers on several criteria.

They competed in a regional tournament with a total of about 190 teams where they finished first and advanced to the state tournament. They have now been invited to represent Colorado and the US in a global competition that will have over 1,200 teams! That's 16,000 competitors from around the world!

The team is trying to raise the funds to be able to participate in this amazing event. There is a lot of money to be raised in a short amount of time - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
