Kyle's Heart Fund ❤

Recently our little brother Kyle was diagnosed with left side Heart failure (cardiomyopathy). He spent about 17 days in and out of the icu at HUP. Originally the doctors were optimistic about Kyle's recovery and we were hopeful that he could pull through with the correct medications. As of last week Kyle's heart failure symptoms returned for the worse and he is back in intermediate care at HUP. This time Kyle's heart function has gotten worse from before (even with oral medications) and he will be going home on an IV fusion and is having a ICD implanted on Friday. He is currently being evaluated for a heart transplant and will eventually need a new heart. As of now he is in stable condition and is feeling the best he has in a long time. He has been an absolute trooper through all of this and continues to be in good spirits. As his sister I feel compelled to make this journey as comforting and easy as possible without the added financial stress for him and my dad. Kyle is no longer allowed to work and is limited to activities. He has had to make sacrifices and lifestyle adjustments that is unthinkable to any 23 year old. He is extremely proactive and is continually making adjustments to cope with his condition. We are extremely proud of him and how strong he is! Lastly, thank you to all of our friends and family who have and continue to support us during these challenging times. We will forever be grateful for you! ❤️
