Kyle's Heart Surgery

Kyle's Special Heart - 4yr old Kyle will be undergoing his "3rd" Open Heart Surgery at Children's Hospital in Seattle beginning of July! Kyle has what's called Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome with Transposition of the Great Arteries. It's a complicated way to say that half his heart never formed and the other half is jumbled.

Kyle's family will be staying with him at Children's and while they will have a place to stay and the basic comforts (if you can even call it that) they will still need to eat and take care of their other needs. I am hoping to help raise funds for their daily needs, like trips to the store for food and drink, things they forgot or chocolate, because when you are stressed you need chocolate. They will need caffeine for the endless nights that they will be up with Kyle. Jennifer is thinking they will be in the hospital for about 3 weeks. That is a long time to sit in a hospital with a 4 and 6 year old. Big brother may get bored so maybe a trip to the park or the zoo would brighten his day. Anything we can do to help ease the burden on this family.
