Kyle Barthel's Medical Bills
Donation protected
Roughly one week ago, on October 16, 2019, Kyle Barthel aka (Toad) fell off of a bridge while on a fishing trip in the Forks, Washington region. He went to the emergency room a short while after the fall occurred in Forks. Upon examination, the doctors deemed Kyle’s injuries too severe to treat at a regional hospital like Forks and subsequently was transported immediately by ambulance to Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Kyle has spent a total of four days in the ICU due to internal bleeding, torn pelvic ligaments, as well as torn muscles.
We all know the inadequacies of our medical system here in United States and how a situation like this can easily bankrupt someone, even those individuals with medical insurance, as well as deep pockets. I personally haven’t asked Kyle how much his medical expenses are, but one can assume they exceed far beyond 25k.
Let’s give Kyle the ability to rest up at home, cover a small portion of his transportation and emergency room costs, and weeks of physical therapy costs.
