Kyla's Road to Recovery

Kyla - a daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, friend, classmate and niece - has recently suffered a tragic accident. While skating in Jensen Beach, she fell and severely fractured her skull. This resulted in an acute subdural hematoma, which is a very serious traumatic brain injury. She was airlifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach where she underwent a craniotomy. While Kyla survived this major, invasive neuro-surgery that many do not, she has a long road to the full recovery for which we all hope.

We all know Kyla as a lifeguard, skater, surfer, student, cheerleader, volunteer and person who is compassionate, dedicated to her community and an inspiration to others.  First and foremost, we ask that you pray for her recovery. For those who are able, we ask for a contribution toward her mounting medical and recovery costs.
