Photo book

Hi, my name is Malachi Francis and I’m currently cycling from England to Australia. So before setting off on this epic adventure or even before I bought my first bike, my main passion and drive was photography. I graduated my BA in Documentary Photography in 2022, from the University of South Wales. Being someone who is obsessed with adventure and wants to experience as much of the world as physically possible, I decided travelling by bicycle would be the best way to experience countries and cultures in the rawest way possible. This would also allow me to document my travels in a more affect way. I always knew I was going to photograph this trip as much as possible, as for me photography is a way of seeing and understanding the world around me. After finally posting my pictures and seeing the incredibly positive reactions to them, I’ve decided I would like to try and publish a photo book from my journey. The photo book has always been the pinnacle of outcomes for a documentary project and this was something very much honed into me at university. My goal in life is to make pictures, it’s what brings me true happiness and I’m hoping this trip can bring this dream into fruition. What I’m asking for is your help to raise funds, to help me publish a photo book so that people can own a piece of my journey forever.
