My Medical Mission Trip To Haiti
In September I will be going on my third medical mission trip to Jeremie Haiti. After my first trip to Jeremie in 2010 I felt as if God was calling me to go back to school to get a degree in nursing. I continue to work toward that goal and hope to one day be able to give back to the orphans and the Haitian community who forever changed my life.
Jeremie is home to an orphanage operated by El Shaddai Ministries
International. There are nearly 150 orphans there at this time with
plans to perhaps double that number in the future. Our church, (Long Hollow Baptist), has
partnered with ESMI and continues to be very involved in the care of
these orphans. We perform check ups, treat various illnesses and
vaccinate them as well as open up the clinic to the surrounding
