Heart Transplant

Brandon Ramey was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy at 29, which by definition means, a Chronic disease of the heart muscle. He received a  Pacemaker but since then his heart function has gotten too low and the medications are no longer effective. He is currently awaiting a heart transplant and is no longer able to work. Upon Brandon receiving his new heart, he will need monthly medications to fight against rejection, it will be an ongoing medication and bill every month for the rest of his life. He was advised that he will be unable to leave the hospital until he has a heart. Brandon's mother was also diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and she received a heart on October, 16th. She is currently in and out of the hospital because of ongoing complications. This will be an ongoing expense for not only Brandon but his family as well. Despite everything that Brandon has dealt with, he always has a smile on his face and a great sense of humor.
