Dear Friends and Family,
Hi this is Tania and I am posting this for my sister, Lora, who in 2006 had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer called triple negative. She has had reoccurrences in 2011, again, two times in 2013 and now this January 2015 she has breast mets to her lungs and brain. She was recently in the Neuro ICU for nine days at St. Luke's as the swelling of the tumor on the brain had become critical. Lora has been battling this cancer for a long time now. Seeking many second, third, fourth opinions and several surgeries, chemo, radiation. She is home from ICU now and currently having chemo to keep swelling at bay. She has a long journey ahead. She is a fighter and I know she can get through this difficult time. I'm posting this to ask for any donations that could help my sisters family with past and future medical expenses. Attached is a picture of her and her family last Christmas 2013 during better times. She has a loving husband who has stood by her through thick and thin and a beautiful 11 year old daughter who has been very strong and brave for her mom.
