I live in a fairly large town, Erie, Pennsylvania.  Lately an epidemic has swept through killing many and leaving even more in grips of a horrible addiction, Heroin.  Even I had trouble with opiates. Thankfully I have been clean for 16 months. It has been such a huge struggle, and  feel there needs to be more education on this subject other than statistics.
I have a Bachelor degree in fine arts and studied in painting, drawing, and animation. I have also had minors in psychology.  I would like to create an animation that shows the struggle I had to go through battling my addiction. Not only would I show the struggle, and pain of addiction. I would also like to show how amazing recovery can be once one gets past the mental and physical withdrawal. I feel this project would benefit the city of Erie as well as the younger generation through an easy to understand visual approach. 
I am completely starting from scratch so all the funds needed will go to materials (e.g. Computer, animation program, webcam, paper, pencils, etc). With your donation I believe this project can go a long way. I know since using this visual aesthetic will help to educate the public better than statistics and numbers of over doses. My plan is to start as soon as possible. This project needs to get out so we can start saving lives!! PLEASE, NO MORE DEATHS FROM HEROIN!!
