Help for Baby Seigle & Family

My sister and her family are anxiously awaiting the birth of their third child on 03-02-2015.  At her 20 week ultrasound she found out that they were having a little boy. The doctor also told them that the baby had something wrong with his heart.  After having a heart ultrasound at 21 weeks he was diagnosed with TGA.

TGA or Transposition of the Great Arteries is when the two main arteries of the heart are switched. He will need one surgery shortly after birth a balloon atrial septostomy. Then as soon as he is stable he will have open heart surgery (Arterial Switch Operation) to fix his little heart. If everything goes as planned my sister’s family will be able to bring home a happy healthy boy in 3-4 weeks.

This will be very costly for my sister’s family with one income to cover lost wages, medical bills, and travel expenses. As you can imagine this is and will be continue to be a very stressful time for my sister and her family. I am hoping this fundraiser will help her family so they have one less thing to worry about during the birth of their little boy and the weeks that follow.
