OneCommunityChurch:Jamaica Mission Trip

Last year I embarked on the journey of a lifetime as I participated in the 2013 Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic with my One Community Church family. The experience was more than I could have EVER imagined. It showed me how great and universal God truly is! But more importantly than that I witnessed how He fulfills His promise to provide for ALL of his children. It showed me that God’s grace and His love knows no boundaries or boarders. How ever present His mercy and His power was as we faced challenges and triumphs!  How He could use me and 38 of my fellow mission team partners as vessels to fulfill His promise to His children in the Dominican Republic. While there we ministered to the people of the community, provided medical care to over 400 people, built and fully furnished 2 houses for 2 families.

Needless to say, I jumped on the opportunity to participate in this year's mission trip! On November 15, 2014, we will be going to Jamaica to build a house for a family in need, minister to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the people through medical care and spreading of the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ. To accomplish this goal, each person must raise $1700 to go towards the cost of building and furnishing a house, medical supplies, transportation, food, and lodging. But most importantly, this money will help send people who love Jesus Christ and have a heart to share the Gospel to the people of Jamaica. There is no amount too small for every cent counts towards His advancement.
