Kristin's Help for Hope

My beautiful wife, Kristin has been struggling with epilepsy for several years.  When I came home one day (April 2015) right after we were married, I fould her unconscious, having lost her faculties.  This disease has taken its toll on us.  I feel hopeless to make things better.  The doctors have no answers for us, though many times they have admitted her and subjected her to constant tests.  All the while, I pay 1/3 of my salary out of my regular pay, then pay an outrageous deductible. We have medical bills that simply cannot be paid.

I understand that everyone has similiar situations.  It is a difficult time in America dealing with the health care crisis.

If we cannot pay the 10s of thousands of dollars in medical bills, we could lose our home and other things.

This is a rather humbling experience for Kristin and me.  We are usually on the giving side.
