Kristine's Fight Against Metastatic Breast Cancer

Hi Everyone,

My name is Aimee Tallamy and I'm writing this on behalf of a family that is very near and dear to me and my family.

My friend Kristine Urban is a wonderful wife and mother to 4 beautiful children. Her family recently left behind the city life and moved out to rural Pennsylvania into their forever home. Right before the move she found out the company she was working at was sold, but they decided this was a blessing in disguise and the time off work would allow them to really settle in to their new home. Her husband (Lovey) is now commuting 60 miles (each way) to work a day, and had to put their whole family on his small shops very expensive health insurance.

Fast forward to December...With the cost of living, 4 children, gas prices on the rise, and a new home it was time she find work. Instead, one night shortly before Christmas she felt a lump on her breast that just didn't feel normal. She panicked since they just moved and she needed to find a good care team in her area.

2 months later on 2/27 after a few doctor visits, multiple scans, and a biopsy the family received devastating news that her lump was Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. Since then she's had to endure more scans, multiple doctor visits, and biopsies.

She also found out that she is BRCA2 gene positive which further complicates her treatment.

Help is not something she asks for often. She prides herself on accomplishing what she has by her hard work, without help except from her amazing husband. If you know her, you know she was dealt a shit hand when it came to parents and she lost her only siblings before she turned 40 years old.

Please find it in your heart to donate any amount that will go directly to medical expenses and treatment during this time they are living off one income. They have high premiums, and an extremely high deductible/out of pocket amounts.

I know many are struggling financially, no amount is too small!
