Kristin has been with The Bakery Mill since long before Barbara and I purchased this business. She has been an incredible help to us at every step of the way and the success of the business today has much to do with her unwavering support to us and her commitment to The Bakery Mills' customers.  She is known by most and beloved by many of our customers.
Recently Kristin suffered a mild stroke, a terrifying experience to one so young. Then during her hospital test, the doctors discovered that she has breast, lung and liver cancer. How advanced and at what stage the cancer is still unknown at this time.
She did not ask us for help, nor did she have to. She has earned our love,  support and respect over the years and helping her financially is the only way we can help to ease her burden. We understand that with all the fear and uncertainty she is experiencing right now, paying the bills and keeping her home should not be another burden for her to bare.
We're asking everyone that knows and cares about Kristin to keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayer as she negotiates this life changing news. We're asking everyone that knows and cares about this incredible young woman to help us help her with her medical and personal bills as she negotiates what is yet to come.
We may never get the opportunity to tell her how much she has meant to all of us but we can all help her in this time of need. This is what friends do, this is what people that care about her should do. The measure of a persons life is the measure of the love and respect we have for that person.
Donations will go directly to Kristin and her family Her medical bills will be staggering, her loss of income substantial. The Bakery Mill will keep Kristin on our payroll for the remainder of the year. We're hoping her Go Fund Me page can raise enough money to care for her for as long as it is needed.
This is a tragedy for all of us that know this young woman. She will be missed and we have all suffered a loss in our lives. Let's show her what she meant to us, how she made a difference in our lives, even if it was just her smile and personality when she said hello.
For those that want to help in other ways, anything left for Kristin at The Mill will be delivered by us to her directly
