Kristeen’s Medical Fund

This is my 39 year old Niece, Kristeen Gonzalez. After a year of living in pain with migraines, back pain, being unable to breath, living on oxygen and being continually treated unsuccessfully for pneumonia she was finally diagnosed. We were so excited and had hoped for a solution to her pain and breathing problems. And then we got the diagnosis; stage 4 lung cancer. Which had already spread to her back and even worse, her brain. We were, we are, shocked. Numb. Krissy never smoked. She doesn't drink. She served in the Navy, on the ships and we believe that was the cause. At the time of diagnosis, which was less than 2 months ago, she was given a mere 6 months to live. Last week we discovered her cancer has spread to her neck and liver.  Her oncologist said it is most likely in her bones as well. Krissy is undergoing radiation and chemo. The hope is to shrink her tumors to diminish her pain and give her some relief. Kris is married, with 3 children. She lost her job when she was diagnosed. She was a singer in her church, she hasn't been able to sing in a long time.  She has no life insurance. The medical expenses and loss of income are taking their toll on the family.  The holidays are here and the stress is mounting. All proceeds will go directly to Krissy's medical and housing.
