Krista's Breast Cancer Battle

Krista was diagnosed with an aggressive triple negative breast cancer in April 2017.  She tested positive for the BRCA2 cancer gene.  She immediately started 3 months of intense chemotherapy.  In September she had a bilateral mastectomy surgery.   On November 3 she will have a hysterectomy surgery and in December she will have a breast reconstruction surgery.  Krista is a single mom with twin 12 year old boys, Collin and Donovan.  She is also a special education teacher and gives so much of herself to help her students succeed.  This cancer journey will last almost a full year.  During this time she is facing large medical bills and her loss of salary.  Many people ask Krista "What can we do to help?"  Cancer is stressful enough without the stress of medical bills.  Please consider making a donation in support of Krista's breast cancer battle.  Each donation will help her get one step closer to beating breast cancer.
