Help evacuate a family and kids from Gaza

The family of a MuslimGirl.com alumni writer is trapped in Rafah after multiple displacements and experiencing domestic violence; help us get them out of Gaza!

One of our beloved MuslimGirl.com alumni is experiencing an extreme situation. *Her name is being withheld to protect her family's privacy due to the current domestic situation, as their safety is not only at risk from the IOF, but from the father as well.

Khadija* is a young woman in her 20s from Gaza City. When the current Israeli aggression on Palestine happened, Khadija was able to be evacuated from Gaza by the Australian government because she has a student visa there due to her studies. Unfortunately, Australia was unable to evacuate Khadija's husband or other family (her mother, two kid brothers, and father). She is now in the safety of Australia while worrying about her family's safety – not only from the IOF aggression and bombing but also a domestic situation within the family that threatens the safety of her kid brothers and beloved mother. Living through domestic violence is hell; now imagine having to live with it in a war zone. This situation has already caused one of her kid brothers to experience life-threatening asthma attacks, and as you know, the healthcare system in Gaza has collapsed.

Khadija has found a way to evacuate her husband, mother, and two kid brothers, but it is very costly. It is $5000 USD per person above 16 years old, meaning we need to raise $17,500 to get Khadija's family to safety. Her mother and two brothers have visas for Turkey and can go to Turkey; her husband can join her in Australia, and the rest will help sustain the family in Turkey for couple of months.

Every day that goes by, Khadija, like many other Palestinians with family in Gaza, is in agony. She is desperate to get her family to safety, and we are desperate to help her do so. All funds raised will go directly to Khadija to help her evacuate her family. Please help us save her family's lives and get them to safety.
