Dads road to recovery

As some of you already know, my father was diagnosed in September with stage four kidney cancer. He went in for surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston on October 11th to remove the 30lb tumor, along with his kidney. Shortly after that, he had to start radiation for the tumor that was growing on his spine. Once radiation was finished he was off to chemo. Recently, my family and I received some unfortunate news; the tumor on his spine became aggressive, growing larger and causing that piece of his spine to deteriorate making day-to-day activities difficult. My father will be going back to the hospital on December 26th and undergoing his second surgery on December 27th to remove the tumor and fix his spine. My mother and I will be staying at a hotel near the hospital for a few nights. With medical bills, hotel fees, my father being out of work, and Christmas being right around the corner money is tight. My father is my rock; an inspiring, selfless, loving, hardworking man who goes out of his way to lend a helping hand whenever he’s needed and expects nothing in return. I’d like to think that many of you feel the same way. He deserves endless love and support. I’m asking friends and family to please donate towards these expenses. Anything is appreciated!
