HELP INGRID...AYUDA A INGRID

NO ES CUESTION DE SUERTE

(FOR ENGLISH, SCROLL DOWN)

Gracias.

A MATTER OF WILL

Hi everyone,

It never fails to amaze me that despite the problems that surround my daily life, I've got it good. I'm healthy, I work and i have a family.  Call it luck or call it a Blessing but I have a lot to be grateful for. Unfortunately, not everyone can say the same. Recently, I received the unfortunate news that an 11 year-old girl named Ingrid Beltran, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in her right leg.  To make matters worse, after several professional opinions, it has been determined the leg will have to be amputated this week in order to save her life.  To add to the tragedy, she is not a candidate for a prosthesis. While I've never met Ingrid, I can't begin to imagine what she, as well as her family, are going through. I can tell you that Ingrid's family doesn't have the benefit of a safety net to help them through such a difficult time and her mother has been forced to stop working to be in her care.  Her family's finances have been deeply affected and although some of the major costs are being covered in her treatment, it's not enough. Her mother has been a long-time employee of an aunt of mine, and as you might expect, she is helping her wherever she can, but again, it's not enough and it looks like Ingrid is in for a long fight. As you also might expect, I'm writing to you today asking if you can find it in your heart to help Ingrid with her finances and make a donation today. I rarely, if ever, do this sort of thing so believe me, if I'm posting it, it is because there is a great need. I've set a modest goal of $5,000 and hopefully, you can help Ingrid reach it, or go far beyond it. This story has touched my heart as I hope it will touch yours. Helping is not a matter of luck, but a matter of will. If you consider yourself lucky, spread the love and please donate whatever you can afford. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Juan Jose Campos
