Memorial Fund for Jordyn Beck

As many of you know Alyssa Jordyn Beck passed away January 22, 2015 at the young age of 22.   Jordyn was diagnosed in 2009 with Ewing Sarcoma Cancer.  Jordyn was only 16 when she was hit with this tragic news.  She has fought since the day she learned of her cancer and refused to give up.  She couldn't give up, for you see, she had this precious baby growing inside of her who needed her mommy to live!!  In her journal the words I WANT TO LIVE were boldly written by her.  She did everything the doctors told her chemo, radiation, and multiple surgeries.   This past July her mother, Chris (Crystal) Shy Beck, knew that Jordyn needed her mommy.  Chris, a manager at Food Lion, could no longer give all of her time to a company, she knew her daughter needed her and made the decision to leave Food Lion to be able to assist her beautiful daughter and granddaughter, Maddi.  This family has struggled for the last 6 years and have put all of their finances on hold to be able to care for their daughter.   Sadly, they were unable to purchase life insurance on Jordyn due to her cancer diagnosis.  Family and friends have set up this Go Fund Account to assist the family with funeral and cemetery funding and for Maddi.  We pray that this simple gesture will help the family during this painful time of their life.  Maddi, only 5 years old, needs your prayers in the loss of her mommy.  Please continue to pray for Lenny, Chris and Maddi in the upcoming days and all the days after.  Jordyn is now with her Lord and rejoicing that she no longer has to live in pain or sickness.  Thank you in advance for your contributions to this wonderful family.
