Korinna's Surgery

My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 10 and is currently 19. She has been hospitalized 8 times with her sugar levels dangerously high, to the point that she could've gone into a coma.  On July 7, 2020 my daughter was admitted to the hospital with blood sugar levels over 500 (normal range is 120-150). While in the hospital a lady brought to my attention that she had the same problem during her youth. After having bariatric surgery she became diabetes free. She is currently 78 and she says it has completely changed her life. I would like to give my daughter the opportunity to feel like a normal teenager. Unfortunately, the surgery is very costly and we currently do not have the means to pay for this. I know my daughter would greatly appreciate this surgery because she has felt so overwhelmed and depressed having this condition. We would greatly appreciate any donations to help us pay for the surgery that would help my daughter feel normal and happier. Anything helps, thank you and God bless.

Mi hija fue diagnosticada con diabetes tipo 1 a los 10 años y actualmente tiene 19 años. Ha sido hospitalizada 8 veces con sus niveles de azúcar peligrosamente altos, hasta el punto de que podría haber entrado en coma. El 7 de julio de 2020, mi hija ingresó en el hospital con niveles de azúcar en la sangre superiores a 500 (el rango normal es de 120-150). Mientras estaba en el hospital, una señora me llamó la atención que tenía el mismo problema durante su juventud. Después de someterse a una cirugía bariátrica, se liberó de la diabetes. Actualmente tiene 78 años y dice que ha cambiado completamente su vida. Me gustaría darle a mi hija la oportunidad de sentirse como una adolescente normal. Desafortunadamente, la cirugía es muy costosa y actualmente no tenemos los medios para pagarla. Sé que mi hija agradecería mucho esta cirugía porque se ha sentido tan abrumada y deprimida por esta afección.
