Konrad Zajkowski's Legacy Fund

As many Boulder famlies know,  Rocky Mountain Day Camp has always considered thier staff, campers and parents to be one big family. It is with a heavy heart that they share with you a great loss. On Thursday night last week, three of thier Boulder Camp counselors were involved in a car accident. Konrad Zajkowski, a Lizard counselor, passed away at the scene. Johnny Tasch, another Lizard Counselor, was taken to the ICU at Aurora Medical Center where he is recovering from his injuries, and Joe Gorman, a Monkey counselor, was uninjured in the crash.  This was Konrad’s second summer at RMDC. He loved the Lizards with all of his heart and hoped to become a teacher some day.


As very appreciative families of RMDC and Konrad's amazing contribution to all of our children, we ask you make a donation to carry out his legacy.  This money will go directly to his family for any expenses caused by his early departure.
