Konny´s Master Studies in Italy

Around the age of five years they discovered that I am allergic to MSG - Monosodium glutamate, which is a food additive enhancing flavours. Since then I have to take care of what I eat to avoid dramatic allergic attacks.

Therefore I left home with sixteen to become a professional chef, in the age of twenty-two I decide to go back to school to complete my high school. To pay my expenses I had a small scale catering, helped older people, worked in a pub and helping out in a medical research centre for cancer.

Due to a car accident I could not continue my passions and hoped to help the food system, so I started to study gastronomic sciences in Italy. Since two years I concluded the B.sc. Since then I am searching for a job outside the kitchen because one of my hands will never fully recover after the accident.

Now I am starting/trying to attend a master in environmental management to find a proper way out of the sector of the gastronomy and to make the world a better place. The study cost are about 3.ooo €‚ plus 2.ooo €‚ which I would need to make a living while studying. All my savings are spend in the previous education, attending school and university. But still most people consider me as a chef, which makes me feel sad after these eight years of struggle and hope.

Always I tried helped people around me the best I could, now I am asking you to help me to make one more step to go ahead.
