Kokua Kekoa

Donation protected
Aloha Family and Friends, I am raising money for my brother Ronald "Kekoa" Ayau. On September 16, 2018 Kekoa was admitted to St. Rose Dominican Hospital San Martin Campus in Las Vegas, NV due to severely low blood counts. Platelet, white and red blood cells were in single digits. The doctors did a bone marrow biopsy and discovered my brother suffers from a rare bone marrow disease called Very Severe Aplastic Anemia. Aplastic anemia is a rare disease in which the bone marrow stops producing enough blood cells. Any blood cells the marrow does make are completely normal, but there are simply not enough of them to serve the body's needs. People with severe or very severe aplastic anemia are at risk for life-threatening infections or bleeding. With prompt and proper care, most people who have aplastic anemia can be successfully treated. The only cure for aplastic anemia is a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately Nevada does not have a Bone Marrow Transplant center. Kekoa will be transported to University of Utah Hospital by the end of this week if not early next week where he will be properly treated. During this time we humbly ask for any assistance financially to assist in any bills of his and getting my mom Besty Lindsey up there with him.  https://www.aamds.org  (info on Aplastic Anaemia) From my Ohana to yours Mahalo Nui. Please keep my brother in your prayers.
