My name is Felicia and i’m a mother of four wonderful little boys with a passion for cooking. I am from Ivory Coast and have been in the U.S. for the past eighteen years. I have always dreamed of opening my own restaurant. When I joined my father in the U.S., I was excited to pursue my passion by enrolling at L’academie de Cuisine culinary school. My passion for cooking started when I was a child and would love any opportunity to help cook for family and friends. My grandmother was my greatest inspiration and it would be a dream come true for me to pursue my ambition in her memory. She meant the world to me and after her passing, cooking has been a way for me to feel connected to her again. When I graduated from culinary school, I interned at the popular restaurant Central Michel Richard in Washington D.C. After years of practice with the great chef at CMR, I decided to embark on my own to start my own at home takeout and catering business, Chef Kofemi Takeouts & Catering. My desire to work towards opening my own restaurant one day, emboldened me to take my savings and purchase a trailer that I want to convert into a mobile food truck. And this is where I am seeking your help. Any contribution is greatly appreciated to help cover the costs of equipment to turn the trailer into a working food truck and to also pay for inspections and licences. I am also in need of a plumber, electrician, graphic and website designer and any help is welcome. To GOD BE THE GLORY !Thank you very much & forever grateful .
